One of my favorite little heroes made it to the top 10 Best Newborn Photographers International Competition for April 2013! His image was featured on the Best Newborn Photographer Facebook Fanpage recently, so I was ecstatic to see him included in the top 10 too. This image has a little story behind it, because you probably know how much I love personalizing sessions for families. This little man has a deployed Daddy in Afghanistan, who bought him a stuffed camel when he was born. When Mom brought the sentimental gift to the session, we both sat there perplexed… scratching our heads, wondering how to include this camel. We wanted to make it meaningful for Dad, we wanted it to be personal. I was hoping to convey a message of strength similar to what our military children endure throughout deployments. I wanted the message to extend past our military community though, with a deeper, worldwide sentiment. Freedom isn’t free.
I hope that you love it, and if you do, I would love for your support in voting for it! Just follow the link and click “LIKE” on his image: http://bestnewbornphotographers.com/best-newborn-photographers-april-2013/
If you’re feeling especially generous, I’d be grateful if you shared it too! Thank you for all of you love and support, I’m truly blessed to even be included amongst these talented artists, one of which happens to be my best friend at Jamie Lynn Photography! Jamie’s image is a little bright-eyed newborn girl in a sea of pink fluff with a flower adorned on her tiny head. Be sure and give her some love too – just click “LIKE”. (you can vote for more than one entry). You all are amazing, thank you so much!
